A JPS HEALTH NETWORK PHYSICIAN HAS ACCUSED THE 
TAXPAYER-SUPPORTED TARRANT COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT OF 
BEING OBSTRUCTIONIST IN HER ATTEMPTS TO COMMUNICATE 
WITH THE BOARD.
Dr. Mayme Richie-Gillespie, an orthopedic-oncology 
surgeon, wrote an e-mail to board members criticizing 
the performance of JPS administrators, but said that 
her e-mail was shown to the hospital's upper management 
before it was forwarded to the board chairman, reported 
the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Richie-Gillespie said she 
wanted to inform the board about her concerns about 
patient care, the way patients are admitted into the 
network's system and about strained relationships among 
physicians and administrators, the Star-Telegram added.
